Scuba Diving

I’m a freshman in high school and I have no previous diving experience, unless you count starting dives during competitive swimming and do flips into the pool during practice. I have competed in swimming, but no other aquatic events. I am reasonably fit, because I’ve been doing competitive swimming. I have found a diving center but I am unsure if they will take someone as inexperienced as I. It looks like a lot of fun and something to do in the winter and summer (which is when I’m between seasons).

Just go to http://www.usadiving.org/05redesign/main/index.html to find a club in your area. I’m sure they will be able to help you get started.
